Surprised about the actual book seeing how often its recommended to artists. Not a fan of the delivery in many ways but there are some gems to it in the tools or the underlying message of the book/method, such as the morning pages, artist dates and some of the tasks per chapter. Particularly not a fan of the Christian framing, but I can look past that rather easily compared to the filler stories that don't really say or prove much or Camerons dramatic comparisons between failed projects and miscarriages. I get that losing your personal passion projects is rough and personal at times, but damn, a miscarriage is a whole other level of hurt and trauma.

I almost feel bad leaving such a review, because I know the book is well intentioned. But the way it goes about getting its point and method across, while may work for some, I found so cheesy, self helpy in the not the good way, and just awfully written all around. Doesn't help that the delivery is stiff
