Lesley returns with her best thriller yet - The Apartment Upstairs is the sort of read that will have you listening out for creaks in the floorboards from other rooms. A perfect blend of complex, human characters and unrelenting suspense. Lesley Kara is incomparable.
THE APARTMENT UPSTAIRS is taut, tense, dark and claustrophobic with a creeping sense of menace and a cast of compelling characters. I gulped it down in two sittings.
