It was acceptable in the last book since the idea of the mission wasn't to go into enemy territory, but this is the 2nd time and the mission is clearly dangerous.
That is the main reason, but there are many other smaller reasons too. For example:
That a small kid can surprise some soldiers and do some damage is cute the 1st few times, but quickly degrade the suspension of disbelieve if done all the time. Also that they managed to sneak aboard a well protected mission critical device 2 times also creats the same problem.
Then we have the problem of the main protagonist having no character growth, sure the book talks about her changing all the time, but if you take away her titles and some of her fighting skills she is pretty much the same person as she was in the 1st book.
The next problem is the social system the protagonist rants about all the time, it makes no sense for it to exist especially since nearly every important person seems to like the protagonist for changing the system.
I don't think it's a bad book, but the story lost me and I'm done with the series.
