It started out like any other morning on the train - until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle. He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world. Who did the stuck-up suit think he was...God?

Actually, he looked like a god. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out. I might have picked it up. I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers. I might have held on to the mystery man's phone for days, until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me. So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk's office. I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first, though.

I didn't expect him to text back.

I didn't expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn't expect to fall for him - all before we even met.

Diese schöne Liebesgeschichte wird mit den beiden Sprechern, besonders mit der exzeptionellen Maxine Mitchell zu einem Hörgenuss oberster Güte. Ich habe eigentlich dieses Hörbuch wegen ihr gekauft...Die Geschichte ist wunderbar erzählt und begeistert.

Es bedient so ziemlich alle Klischees, die es über Liebesromane gibt.
Gleichzeitig wurde es aber interessant und süß geschrieben.
Glücklicherweise mag ich solche Liebesschnulzen.
Und ich würde es auch weiterempfehlen.

This book, or rather the female protagonist, definitely left an impression on me.

I know, I know, the story seems a bit overused right? Filthy rich asshole who’s got everything in life, with some tragic past under his belt. This book gives it an refreshing spin though. The characters are strong, sassy and interesting. A female protagonist, who doesn’t actually endures any crap the male protagonist throws at her but is actually able to call him out on his shit.

The story definitely has a few twists and turns, which will definitely make you suffer (in a good way, like a good romance should) only to end in a happily ever after. I can definitely recommend this book!

This was actually the first book I’ve read of these two authors. I actually really liked their other book “hate notes” too, which you should definitely check out, if you’ve liked this one. It will definitely be worth your while.

Interesting, funny, dramatic and incredibly sexy

there is literally no character development and the author really ticked off every single sexist cliche. please, for the love of god, why does a man have to be filthy rich and an ass (in this case also a stalker and control freak - the kind we warn our daughters about)? why does a woman have to be insecure and weak? don't believe the summary, she is neither sassy not strong. I read a lot of romance and unfortunately most books are pretty bad and lack an actual story. This one is worse than most. total waste of time and money.
