Padawan Reath Silas is being sent from the cosmopolitan galactic capital of Coruscant to the undeveloped frontier - and he couldn't be less happy about it. He'd rather stay at the Jedi Temple, studying the archives. But when the ship he's traveling on is knocked out of hyperspace in a galactic-wide disaster, Reath finds himself at the center of the action. The Jedi and their traveling companions find refuge on what appears to be an abandoned space station. But then strange things start happening, leading the Jedi to investigate the truth behind the mysterious station, a truth that could end in tragedy....

Another wonderful story
I totally enjoy the Star Wars audiobooks. The speaker is doing an excellent job with all the different voices. The sound and sound-mixing are also a pleasure to listen to.

They should make it a Movie ASAP!
Perfect from Start to End. I fall in Love with High Republic although the new Bad guys are Not the Same like the sith. But i would say into the dark revealed another missing Puzzle of the Great Adventure which the high Republic is telling.

Very cool story
Its natually a smaller scale story besides light of the Jedi but never the less masterfully crafted. I like the characters and places. Sound Design is as always good. The Reader is very good. The book is not perfect however, there are some pacing issues in the middle of the book, but after that it rewards the read even more. The new Enemies arent as creative tho.
I look forward to more high Republic. Its some much needed refreshment after the disappoiting because very limited in scope disney books so far.
I hope there will be a project to flesh out the old Republic era some day. I would like to see Revan as a character again.

Constant background noises!
Sorry, I really would love to listen to the story, but the constant (!) background noises make it impossible for me. Music and noises which would work in a movie are completely distracting me from the story that's been read. They've even given me a headache. I am really a fan of audioplays with background noises to backup the story, but this isn't how it's done. I can't even rate the story or the reader, because I wasn't able to listen for that long. :/
