This book has good moment embedded in a boring overarching story. The author forgot to link the book with the time period and so it feels out of place. The narrator is even worse, but some ideas and set peaces are well executed. Only recommended for a complitionist of legends content.

Only read this if you’re like Horror

Zombies are definitely not the first that comes to mind when thinking about Star Wars, yet this novel ties in really well with it. Refreshing for a change. And a very good audio performance.

I first bought the Sequel to this book "Death Troopers" and now decided to listen to the first part.
The Story is quite boring. Nothing new or exciting about it. Just the standard zombie theme. Where "Death Troopers" is exciting and you have to wait for the nightmare to begin, "Red Harvest" nearly starts with it from the very beginning. The rest of the book is just about the escape of all the others who are not yet infected. I did not get any Star Wars feeling here. Actually I was thinking about quitting the book before I was done with it. I will not recommend this to others.
The speaker performed great.

Not much to do with star wars universe. Just some random Zombie Story. Every starwars fan can skip this one

Just any Zomie story.

Man hört förmlich die einzelnen Satzbausteine, die beim Edit zusammengeschnitten wurden.
Entweder es gibt 2 Vorleser oder die Bausteine sind an verschiedenen Tagen gesprochen worden.
Der Unterschied in der Stimme ist sehr deutlich und nervt.
Ich spreche hierbei nicht über die Stimmern verschiedener Charaktere.
Es geht hierbei um die Sätze, welche die Situationen beschreiben, also ohne Dialoge.
Eine Stimme spricht übertrieben deutlich und betont jede zweite Silbe, die andere liest unemotional wie ein Translator vor... und das wechselt mehrfach innerhalb einzelner Sätze!

Die Geschichte an sich hat eigentlich nichts mit Star Wars zu tun...
Es ist einfach eine Zombieapokalypse, die durch hinzufügen von Jedi, Sith und anderen Star Wars Schlüsselwörtern künstlich ins Star Wars Universum gequetscht wurde.
Dasselbe hätte bei Star-Trek passiert sein können, wenn man andere Phrasen verwendet hätte
Eine unnötige Geschichte die zur Legends Reihe nichts beiträgt...
