What I liked or disliked: Well I like family values, also when 'man and wife working in tandem', spy stuff, the list goes on. There wasn't really anything I did not like so..Pass with flying colours! The only thing I didn't like was the jealousy I felt of these two, but that says more about me than the book obviously. Or actually, it says that these two authors maybe set a great example! Maybe what did bother me is that given the "secrecy"...I didn't really felt that I learned stuff.. because "need to know"... come to think of it...that I do find quite infuriating, because as a mathematician, I already wrote so many whitepapers how ambiguity (whether or not through secrecy) leads to a whole range of first world problems of which the most problematic is the "pathologising culture"... Note that I'm not blaming the authors for that. However I find it alarming that such clever people apparently not see and/or aren't free to share their trade craft ... Imagine mathematics being secret... banking then suddenly becomes alarmingly difficult.. If only intelligence agencies would run on the trust that the banking sector has worldwide .. Until then indeed let's raise our families well ;)

although it's missing the 'right' ending, but since it's a non fictional book, reality isn't always with the good guys.

An interesting inside, on some of the spy work.

One thing got me off guard, as the room NCC1701 was mentioned, being a fellow nerd, I thought it would imply a joke. ;-)

Too bad the scimitar part fell short at the end, but that's also for being non fictional and/or strict rules.
