Compared to the previous Dawn Of Fire Novel this was a massive improvement, even if the overarching story didn't progress all that much.
The addition of sound effects when the Narrator was doing voices coming through Vox and Telepathy/the Warp was great too - more of this please!

All in all a enjoyable horror journey through the warp.

Warp adventures with twists and turns

Only the very beginnimg and the very end further the plot of the series. The rest just feels like a bad nightmare, where you know you are dreaming but still can't escape. A lot of warp corruption and misdirection. But I guess you can tell from around the middle point where the story is going. The story is told well. The narrator does a good job. I just... didn't like the story itself that much.

Das Buch liefert interessante Einblicke in die Abläufe und die Gedankenwelt des Personals innerhalb eines imperialen Schiffes.
Ich habe mich beim Anhören lange gefragt, was der Bezug zur Gesamtgeschichte der Reihe ist, das hat sich dann aber im späteren Verlauf geklärt.
