What a book.
What a wild ride.
Just like the legion that is portrayed, It features good storytelling and fast paced action. Voiced o so lovely and rich, that the book did not even last two Weeks.
The mid section had some length and some of the characters weren't to my liking, but overall a very thrilling book.
The White Scars were never my favourites, but they surely are on my radar now.

if you want to learn about the White Scars it's a really good book. It covers the journey on how to become a White Scar the Khan and also a critical turning point in the Horus Heresy. Also the Voiceactor doing impressions of the Space Marines and the Khan is some of the best I ever heard. Incorporating a kind of Mongolian Accent on each of the conversations. It's so good.

The Voice actor. Praise the God emperor he's good.

I don't know why. But there is a new random narrator the old one was way more engaging, now the whole book sounds like it's trying to sound boring.
Sadly it's working:( please give me the old narrator back.

Not bad at all, just... average, and somewhat predictable. This book is important however, as the lead up to the vastly more interesting Path of Heaven.

Now it has become just average. Please GW don't just switch up narrators like that. It's not even that the new one is bad. I feel a loss because now I only have my memories of the story because I can never hear it the way it was again.
