Sarande Dreams and Desires follows the journey of Jack Reeves, a 55-year-old retired NYPD detective haunted by the memories of 9/11 and the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting. Jack lives a lonely life in Manhattan with his estranged daughter, Sarah. His wife leaves him, after they moved to Florida. due to his divorce, Jack resumes his law enforcement career, in Orlando, but the trauma of his past continues to haunt him.

In a desperate attempt to find peace, Jack decides to leave New York and move to Sarandë, Albania. There, he meets Fiona Doyle, a British café owner who has her own painful past. Fiona lost her husband in the 7/7 bombings in London and has been raising her son, now in a UK university, Jamie, alone. Despite their initial reservations, Jack and Fiona form a deep connection and begin to heal together.

As Jack settles into his new life in Sarandë, he becomes a part of the community, helping Fiona expand her café and making new friends. However, the ghosts of his past continue to linger, and Jack must confront his trauma head-on. With Fiona's support, Jack learns to forgive himself and find peace.

The story explores themes of grief, healing, and the power of human connection. It is a poignant and hopeful tale of two people finding love and redemption in the most unexpected place.
