Über diesen Titel
They tried to break us.
They almost did.
But we're not going anywhere.
The Celestial Heirs think the stars are on their side. But they don't know what's coming. We have to be smart. Fighting them one on one isn't an option so we have to be stealthy. Remaining under the radar won't be easy, but if we pull it off, they'll never suspect our involvement when their lives start falling apart.
Besides, they've already taken us to the brink of hell, what more can they really do?
Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!
Performed by Khaya Fraites, Jessica Schly, Gregory Linington, Julian Dailey, Ryan Dalusung, Jon Vertullo, Gabriel Michael, Daniel Llaca, Michael Glenn, Karenna Foley, Lydia Kraniotis, Nora Achrati, James Konicek, Lise Bruneau, Kelly Baskin, Stephanie Németh-Parker, Ian Russell, Kit Swann, Terence Aselford, Laura C. That scene where Darcy is out cleaning Griffin crap with the Heirs? For a second, it finally felt like she was being treated like one of them. Like maybe, maybe, the tide was turning. That moment of normalcy shattered fast — and watching her go from included to humiliated again was rough. That emotional whiplash stung.
The party at Darius’s house gave us so much through Orion’s POV. Seeing the scheming of Darius’s father play out in real time, plus the quiet hints about Orion’s sister, added a darker, more political layer to everything. But what stood out most to me was the connection between Orion and Darius — the loyalty, the tension, the unspoken trust. It’s not something I expected, but I’m glad we’re seeing it.
Tori and Caleb are delivering some of the hottest moments of the book. Their back-and-forth is pure chemistry — confident, flirty, teasing — and the tension is off the charts. I’ve been loving their dynamic, and Jon Vertullo absolutely brings that fire to life. Top-tier casting for Caleb, no notes.
And the twins? They get their revenge in this book. And even though part of me wants them to rise above it all, I have to admit — it was so satisfying to watch the Heirs get a taste of their own medicine. Each heir gets their own unique form of karmic justice, and it gets funnier every time. (Looking at you, Pegasus blow-up sex dolls. I cackled.)
As for Seth... I hated him in book one, and somehow I hate him even more now. Nothing he does is funny. Nothing he does is redeemable. Just the worst.
Overall, book 2 feels like the series finding its footing — there’s still chaos, still a lot of tension, but now I care. I’m connected. And I can’t wait to see how far the twins rise (and how many more times I can scream into my pillow about Orion).
Book 3, here I come.
