Designed for an MBA course on private equity, this textbook (now version 1.7) aims to familiarize any listener with the jargon and mechanics of private equity using simplified examples, real-life situations, and results from thorough academic studies. The intention is to have a book that can be listened more like a novel than like a regular textbook. In order to have long-lasting impact on listeners, I believe in making things as simple as possible, boiling everything down to the essence, going straight to the point, and, most importantly, writing in an informal and hopefully entertaining way. The objective is for the listener to play this audiobook with anticipation of having a good educational time.

It was a pleasure to listen to the narrator and follow his discourse on private equity. I found the book in my professor's reading list and it is by far the most entertaining of the books. The audiobook version is a great listen and allows one to cook or do other activities while absorbing a thought-provoking story.
I can recommend this book to anyone interested in the subject.

Very entertaining book about the PE Industry and it’s mechanics. The narrator is very good, which is important when things get technical. The numerous references to alice in wonderland, and the history of wonderland funds 1 to 7 are really funny.

Very nice presentation of technically difficult finance topic with a lot of entertaining Alice in Wonderland quotes. Very nice case studies included of e.g. Pet Co and Hilton deals.
