I liked the pacing, the characters, and the world-building. The ending was satisfying, and I really enjoyed the performance. I felt fully immersed in the story the whole time.

What put me off, though, was the protagonist’s state of mind. He’s only 12 years old, yet he’s slaying monsters like a trained assassin.

... its better than the movie, by a long shot.
I enjoyed it, though I didn't like the voice actor too much. Gabe and Ares sounded too much alike and him trying deeper voices just sounded silly to me. But I guess its a YA novel so younger listeners probably won't complain.

Okay I'm might be a bit biased as I like Greek mythology, but also in general the modern version of the Greek gods was a brilliant idea. I enjoyed the funny allusions to modern times a lot. The plot was captivating, with an unexpected surprise in the end. Percy himself comes off as quite funny and sympathetic; he's a character that everyone can easy relate to. All in all, this is a novel definitely worth your time as an adult and the narrator is doing a marvels job, too.

Whenever Jesse spoke a different character, it sounded like when someone mockingly imitates someone 💀 it was just not a good creative choice at all. Every time Luke or.. Anyone else really came up, it was kinda cringe worthy. I hope he changes this in potential future performances

Just great book overall. Nice mythology references and engaging worldbuilding. All characters are well written and i appreciate how the story deals with some more difficult topics about famliy troubles in a both mature but also family friendly way.

The Percy Jackson books are an all time classic! I’ve enjoyed reading them very much and was delighted to see the books read by Jessie Bernstein. It fits my imagination from childhood days so well. Jessie Bernstein is just awesome to listen to and perfectly brings the different characters to life. Would recommend this audio book a the following of the series to everyone!
