Very cardboard like, hardly distinguishable and therefore unfortunately somewhat irrelevant (secondary) characters. The story is told somewhat lazily and uninspired; sadly not very engaging or lively. Until this book I was hoping the story would get better, but I won't finish listening to the series after this.
Perhaps it's better enjoyed knowing the other works (and characters, respectively) of Linsey Hall. In any case, listening to this did not motivate me to look at any other works by this author.

Narrator was good.
