This whole series explores how war affects those directly and indirectly involved. But each story is also about how people recover and find their way back into life. I found this one particularly satisfying because the main characters communicate with each other, rather than making assumptions and accusations. Excellent.

I loved it as much as loved 'Slightly Dangerous". Every time Flavian spoke, I just wanted to weep and hold him and never let go.

Absolutely Enchanting!

Es lässt sich gut nachfühlen, wie Erinnerungslücken belasten. Und trotzdem findet der junge fesche Bub eine Lady, die noch nicht einmal eine Adlige ist. Flugs wird geheiratet… und es bleiben noch über 4 Stunden oder so übrig, wo ich dachte: na, was kann da noch kommen. Nun, es ist eine Beziehungsstory, das muss man wissen. Mit all dem Getue, das die Engländer so gepflegt haben. Nicht schlecht trotzdem, also handwerklich ok. Manchmal hat mich die perfekte Rosalyn Landor eingelullt und ich musste zurück switchen, weil ich nicht mitbekommen habe, was passiert ist, also was wichtig war. Nachdem die Katze aus dem Sack war, fand ich die Story streng zum Ziel geschrieben. Da hätte es noch Drama und Bewegung geben können. Da man nur über interessante Stories diskutieren kann, habe ich meine Meinung schon gezeigt: Gute Unterhaltung und schöne Hörzeit. Kostenlos im Abo zudem!
