The story about a human girl bravely trying to bring peace both to the humans and Fae comes across like the outline of a larger and more intricate story waiting to be told behind the lines. As it is the MCs are left in their raw and somewhat stereotypical state: a small but brave and beautiful orphan girl, a low Fae and the cruel King of the Unseelie Court while the plot is plowing through the classic themes of loss, loyalty, trust, love and deceit.
For the short listening time just the right amount of racing through the major plot twists and getting the idea of the story. For anybody interested in writing fantasy stories it is a very good opportunity of seeing it as a promising first draft of a story one could elaborate further.
