Growing up, I knew my older brother’s best friend thought of me as “Logan’s kid sister”. For me, though, our next-door neighbor Colin felt like anything but a sibling. Whenever I spied on him through my bedroom window, as he banged away, shirtless, on his drum kit, I felt sensations inside me I’d never felt for my actual brother. But when we moved away and Colin’s band took off like a rocket, I knew my tweener fantasies would never become a reality.

Fast-forward nine years to my brother’s wedding, when I saw Colin again and we shared a secret, drunken kiss that rocked my world. The next morning, Colin blamed the alcohol. Said we should pretend the kiss, and my unfortunate text afterward, never happened.

Now that I’m heading to LA to work for Colin and crash at his place, though, all bets are off. I’m determined to make Colin swoon for me, the same way I’ve always done for him. Because no matter what he insisted, Colin’s body during our kiss, and the shocking thing he whispered into my ear right afterward, made it clear he doesn’t really think of me as his little sister, any more than I do.

good dialogues. great narrators. But I didn't get hooked. Classic Romcom which I would have probably loved in my teens but learned now that it's not my thing anymore. Like I knew the whole story after chapter one so it was too long for me until the predicted end finally came. No surprised but consistent story. good characters, scenes, etc .

I liked that both characters are flawed and aware of it. even though the guy is a red flag, she chooses him exactly as he is. I don‘t know if I‘d call it healthy, but it‘s at least honest.
Amy has some great moments where I thought: finally, a FMC with a personality! However, it was somewhat disturbing how the MMC went from „this can‘t happen! You’re like my little sister“ to „sure, let‘s get married. And you know what? Please stop taking the pill!“. Feels extremely toxic. Without the last two chapters, I would have given it 4 stars. This just utterly destroyed it for me, though.

Even if the main characters annoyed me a little from time to time this has been a great book and I loved to meet the characters from Smitten again! Can totally be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading Smitten first. Also this book again contains a special song! It's wonderful 😍

Cute story

The narration is done very well and this is the first audiobook that actually has a song in it, which suits the storyline since the male lead is a drummer and also sings. So I liked that a lot.

Super Fun , awesome characters , starts off a bit cliche like your typical rom com but stick with it and trust me because it only gets better and better and before you know it you’re rating it a whopping 6 stars . Uniquely written spice baby 🌶️🌶️🌶️ , such a breath of fresh air . Loved loved loved this . The narrators did their thing . So much fun

6 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ absolutely
