Ich habe Norse Mythology auf einer Zugreise durch Skandinavien gehört - das perfekte Setting ;) Die Handlung ist in mehrere Kurzgeschichten unterteilt, was praktisch war, denn so konnte ich auf jeder Zufahrt ein Geschichte anhören.

Neil Gaiman als Sprecher mochte ich. Sein Englisch ist gut verständlich, und er vermochte, jedem Charakter Persönlichkeit einzuhauchen.

Besonders häufig zum Schmunzeln
brachte mich die Darstellung Thors.

Für mich der perfekte Einstieg in die nordischen Mythen! :)

Best story is where Thor's hammer disappears :-) and Freya rejects to marry an ogre to get Thor his hammer back. And they at just so childish and egocentric, if this was to be a movie, captain Jack Sparrow would have to be Loke.

People who are interested in mythology won't learn anything new, but the presentation is entertaining, and the reader is great.

The voice performance is great and the narrative of the stories is good. But only few unconnected stories included mostly of Loki and Thor while the stories of all the other gods and left untold.
