Addison Harper is abruptly summoned to Milverton at the behest of an abrasive lawyer. He plans to be in and out, back to the city lickety-split. Though the formula is really nothing new - man moves to small(ish) town after mysterious inheritance, meets local gossipy old ladies and gets cast as the suspect in a murder investigation- the story was cute, mostly believable and really cute. Just what I wanted to listen to, with a lovely budding romance, a grumpy cat, a city man slowly turning into a small town person and an interesting enough murder plot. Looking forward to the second part!
