Wanted to check the book after having loved the film as a child. Definitely worth it! Still think the movie is good, but I love the book far more. The main story in the book is far more exciting, the stakes are much higher and the tragic elements are more organic/realistic. The story feels very believable even reading it as an adult. Loved every second!!

as a kid I watched the movie and recently I planned to watch it again and then I chose to listen to this audiobook instead.
I'm happy I did. the performance is fitting and keeps you immersed. the story is timeless and full of character.
I can't wait to read this story to my kids.
