It doesn't bring back Pride and Predjudice but retells the story in a tireing way. A lot of repetition and reference to P&P characters which don't really fit but are put in there to keep the association alive and the book going. A "he loves me not" and "I can't tell her the truth" plot which can not be saved by the wonderful characters from Pride and Prejudice.
