The story in itself is ok. I didn't really need the moving tips, but I guess that fits in the story. But the awful and outdated parenting methods are almost criminal. By now we all know how harmful it is to let a crying child cry itself off to sleep! And leaving a sleeping baby in the car seat unattended, once even with the engine running, is unforgivable! Leaving your baby at home while going to the neighbours house? Absolute no go! This book wasn't written in the 50s or 60s, so adding these scenes as if it was normal and ok was a choice. A bad one.
