Kara Gillian ist Polizistin im beschaulichen Beaulac ... und Dämonenbeschwörerin. Noch dazu eine bessere als sie selbst angenommen hat, schließlich gelingt es ihr, einen Dämonenlord zu beschwören und es zu überleben.
Das reicht zum Inhalt ...
Eine gelungene Mischung aus Mystery, Crime, Suspense und Urban Fantasy ... und ja auch das andere, nur nicht so platt und auch nicht so voraussehbar. Und die Serie nimmt im ersten Teil erst Schwung auf ... Die Entwicklung schlägt so viele Haken im Verlauf der Reihe, dass zu hoffen bleibt, dass sie komplett ins Programm aufgenommen wird.
