In case you have not read / heard fvr first book and the first few stories from the magos you may lay this book down and start with the others. It's not imperativ but I think since this series is about the live and the adventures of Eisenhorn it's best to read them in order.
Anyhow, this is, again, a very good audio book, as the others mentioned above. I like the voice of the reader especially.
It's hard to write anything about the story itself without spoiling but it's another hunt for heretics thoughout the helican subsector. During this story one will meet old acquaintances, miss those who were lost in time, and make new one. Like the fist book the story behind the starting point is larger than assumed at first glance. But it is still not just a rewriting of the first book.

I really liked it, because as the 2nd of 3 books this is where the charakter Eisenhorn is actually developing and shaping his future after the presentation in the first book.
