There are probably few people on the planet whose stories are as glorious, as entertaining, as educational, and really as rich as this man‘s. Listening to his life story I have developed an incredible respect not just for his achievements, but for his wonderfully positive attitude, his spirited nature, his courage, intuition, ethical stance - his whole way of being in the world. I have grown to love this man and what he embodies.
I did not want to get this book. Why? Richard Branson is not a great narrator! It was a bit hard at first to listen to him, and the quality of the recording (probably done at home on Necker ; )) is not the best either! But - he gets away with it - at some point I did not care any longer about his narrative skills, but enjoyed the ride instead. I recommend this audiobook for its great spirit, the author‘s sense of humor and ability to make light of himself. And last but certainly not least for all that there is to learn from him and his story.
