The gradual unveiling of a ruthlessly egocentric woman, who devoid of empathy, sacrifices her younger sister for her own vanity and jealousy leaves the reader shocked and fascinated at the same time. Imogen Church presents the story in her usual inimitable way, giving a very distinctive voice to each person and creating an atmosphere of suspense and doom.

Amazing portrait of a narcissist

Imogen Church liest die Geschichte empathisch und fesselnd. Die Story reicht zurück in die Kindheit und wechselt geschickt hin und her. Die Zerrissenheit der Persönlichkeit der älteren Schwester und die sanfte Persönlichkeit der jüngeren Schwester sind sehr gut dargestellt. interessante Wendung zum Ende, eine runde Geschichte!
