I seen a kid killed.... He strangled it, up by the horse.
When Billy, a troubled young man, comes to private eye Cormoran Strike's office to ask for his help investigating a crime he thinks he witnessed as a child, Strike is left deeply unsettled. While Billy is obviously mentally distressed and cannot remember many concrete details, there is something sincere about him and his story. But before Strike can question him further, Billy bolts from his office in a panic.
Trying to get to the bottom of Billy's story, Strike and Robin Ellacott - once his assistant, now a partner in the agency - set off on a twisting trail that leads them through the backstreets of London, into a secretive inner sanctum within Parliament and to a beautiful but sinister manor house deep in the countryside.
And during this labyrinthine investigation, Strike's own life is far from straightforward: his newfound fame as a private eye means he can no longer operate behind the scenes as he once did. Plus, his relationship with his former assistant is more fraught than it ever has been - Robin is now invaluable to Strike in the business, but their personal relationship is much, much more tricky than that....
The most epic Robert Galbraith novel yet, Lethal White is the gripping next instalment in the ongoing story of Cormoran Strike and Robin Ellacott.

Society, Mystery and Family
I was delighted when I discovered the new Cormoran Strike was finally out and immediately bought the audiobook read by Robert Glenister.
The fourth Cormoran Strike story thankfully isn't as grizzly as the third. It reminds me quite a lot of "A Casual Vacancy". The author describes different social classes and the way they live their lives. It's a study about families and the damages they can do to their members.
I liked the way the author treated the triangle Cormoran-Robin-Mathew.
Not wanting to spoil new readers/listeners I won't reveal anything about the plot. :D
Robert Glenister is a wonderful narrator. I love the way he reads Robin and Cormoran. He's also excellent at accents. His performance is absolutely stellar. Highly recommended audiobook!

Rowling so gut.
Absolutes Highlight: Sprecher Robert Glenister.

I love Cormoran
I was waiting for the 4th book to be published for a long time.
Robert Glenister is by far the best speaker I ever heard; the different accents, women men, all the difference emotions he managed to transport. Amazing!! This is a 5 star plus!!
This fourth story of Cormoran Strike was a bit too complicated for me. There where a few too many people involved so that I sometimes got mixed up. It also had a bit too many twists and involved characters.
But again it's this Cormoran Strike style of investigation that is fascinating and him as a character.
Nevertheless, I would recommend Robert Galbraith and am looking forward to the next story.

Lethal White is as close to perfect as it gets. To me, it is by far the best yet in the series. The characters are well fleshed out, especially the detective duo. the story is nicely put together. could not asked for more.

Top notch whodunnit!
A troubled love story developing around politics and old prevarications.
A modern times Victorian whodunnit taking place in the heart of London’s political scene.
For everyone who likes the dark side of the human nature, and the finely detailed narrative that comes alive at every turn of the page.
