I listened to this for a book club and at first wasn't excited that the vote fell on it. It seemed a bit too blah, having read the description. Now that I finished it, I am absolutely smitten. The beautiful writing is matched by the speaker's thoughtful intonation. The story, evolving slowly (in character, I think), is light and deep at the same time. It made me chuckle & ponder the simple wisdoms in it.

Such a great book- i loved it very much! A gentle, clever and funny observation on people.
The reader is doing a great job as well, however I had wished for an irish and not british English reading , but that’s just a little detail.
