The story is ok, the world is interesting and the characters are quite likeable....but most arguments/discussions feel wrong and never resolve anything, it feels strange how all these ppl put more importance on a wedding than proven assassins and the main problem the mages have to much luck in their scheming, most of their plans are really complicated and have so many chances to go wrong that the story lost any believeability, even when ppl realise something is wrong every time either they react too late or explain the suspicion away even though they know that the mages can control minds. It already is strange that the fae didn't invent a way to screen for mind controlled ppl if it's so easy to get that control.
Well, the story ends for me now, I can't retain any suspension of disbelief.

Im Gegensatz zu dem, was der Titel behauptet, ist dies nicht das zweite Buch, sondern ein Teil des Ersten. Wer also Lord of the Fading Lands gekauft hat, wird enttäuscht sein, weil man diesen Teil schon gehört hat. Geldverschwendung!!!!
