As I am sure anyone who is interested in this book has read the first novel, you already know Richard Nell can write, and ask yourself whether it is worth it to follow the story even further. If you liked the first one just a bit , I can assure you it is. More than just a little to be honest. Ruka, which I hated in the first book, became one the best written characters i have met thus far and the story has this interesting twists and turns that just keep you going. This is way better than the first one. Its brilliant and unexpected from a self publishing author. This could and should be a TV Show like GOT, and I mean that in a positive way. Also a really good job done by the narrator. I usually dont write reviews, but this books deserve it! I read a lot of fantasy from Sanderson to Rothfuss and others and Nell can absolutely compete with these!
