I really wanted to like this book but God what a mess. This is boring, overly repetitive and has a meaningless story and characters. the typical murakami magic is nowhere to be seen. this is one of murakamis weakest books and if your value you time go read Kafka on the shore or something else entirely. and if I hear "the man with the white Subaru Forester" ever again, I am gonne lose it.
