In Boyfriend Material, Luc and Oliver met, pretended to fall in love, fell in love for real, dealt with heartbreak and disappointment and family and friends...and somehow figured out a way to make it work. Now it seems like everyone around them is getting married, and Luc's feeling the social pressure to propose. But it'll take more than four weddings, a funeral, and a bowl full of special curry to get these two from "I don't know what I'm doing" to "I do".

Luc was so unlikable in this story. I was very disappointed with his (lack of) character development.

As much as I loved the first book and audio book, I love this one even more because we get to know Luc and Oliver as a couple. Really enjoyed this and really really loved the narration

Great sequel

I have a weird relationship with sequels, but I loved "Boyfriend Material" so much, I had to give this one a go.
And I loved it. It has got fun and drama and chaos - and Luc and Oliver, two protagonists being so authentic and wonderful.
i loved how Luc got to become Oliver's rock. How supportive he was, trying to cook or holding Oliver's hand.
Some things felt mildly too much for me - the ending and the funeral speech. But this is okay, I don't have to get it all to love the story as a whole.
I don't know if i want "Father Material" to happen. While I think it could be overstretching the material... Alexis Hall could surprise me. And well - I love to spend time with Luc and Oliver.
Also the speaker does a fantastic job and I need to google his other works.
