well this is the second book of mary wines I read. and I realize giving her Readers blueballs is kind of her Things. So I had to contend with that. plus helen struggled too long with her marriage Status and insisted too long for an annullement because she thought she was not good enough for him and for the Clan, when everyone was more than accepting of the Match especially Marcus' father the laird and his brother the future laird. other than that I had a lot of fun with this book. I will continue....

what a ride

Eine gut geschriebene Story, die mitreißend und interessant ist. Die Charaktere sind liebenswert und handeln natürlich in der Story.
Ein bisschen langatmig, bis es zur tatsächlichen Vereinigung kommt. Dennoch amüsant.
Der Sprecher hat mich seit Teil 1 irritiert, wenn durch schwierige Slangphrasen eine Verlangsamung entsteht, als ob Worte durchgekaut werden. Manche Frauenstimmen wirken auch überstresst. Kann mich nicht daran gewöhnen.
Meine Empfehlung ist, dass man der Story wegen durchhält. Kostenlos im Abo kann man das Hörbuch mitnehmen.
