I tried. I really tried. After listening to all previous books of the series I didn't want to beg out of this one prematurely. But honestly, one half chapter of listening to the female narrator was more than I could take. Her accent, voice and intonation is that of a smoked out 70year old southern Belle and has absolutely nothing to do with a @30 woman from Cali or a romantic setup. Homeless in Mississippi sounds closer. Sorry, but not for this listener.
