Awsome book, which i enyoed to be sucked in. Loved every minute of it.

A real joy

The story is pretty good, the characters likeable and word building is fairly solid, too. The 3rd book iss bit heavier on the fighting which is okay but not exactly why I like the series. The dialogues and intrigues are still there and as fun as ever but there's less of it.
The epilog of the book seems a bit ill-structured but it's not too bad. The buildup to book 4 is pretty huge.

I'm not a fan of the tooltip parts. They're obviously a pretty big part of the series but it seems like there's even more of them in this book. I've skipped some of the longer ones entirely because I just couldn't bear them anymore. They're mostly repetitions at this point, too.

I loce the story and the characters but I want more of Jason beeing Jason while revealungthe plot and less "astral beeings telling each other the plot while no important charcter is near by"

you absolutely need to hear it. every book. its fantastic. Story, characters, Progression. The whole Story of He who fights with Monsters is absolutely amazing. i would go so far to say that it is the best Story of all i have. i really hope there will be much more books written by Shirtaloon und spoken by Heath Miller.

I quite like the book. But I found myself skipping 1-2 minutes every time the system messages came up in the middle of a fight.

I like the series, the tone between ambitious, reflective and self-deprecating humor.

There is one thing that kills my imersion and that is the repeated retelling of the skills/ powers which make sense once, maybe twice but especially in tense combat action sequences who would feel tight, short and sweet those power descriptions kill any momentum those Scenes had in them. It may be that when reading/ writing those I could just glance over or skip them at my own pace but as I use audiobooks when going for a walk or hiking I'd have to get my device out, activate the screen, skip ahead back and forth as to not miss a detail of the action yet get rid of the immersion tear.

It irks me now that this minor gripe takes up so much space as I like the series and think it is a great production audiobook. Heath Miller has become a selling point for me in audiobooks as I can totally tune out the fact that he is one person speaking three people in a dialogue while I imagine different characters in my mind.

Also a great Item for me is the communications techniques like rapport building, active listening and powerframe shifting stuff is really well done and do work in context of integrity not ideology where those same techniques go to die.

Storymäßig gehts erst aber der hälfte richtig los, das Ende is gut und ich freu mich schon auf die Fortsetzung.

I like the character design and how all characters do develop.

The story becomes more and more complex. Ending though keeps you hanging a bit and I am afraid it will take some time for book 4. Look forward to it though, definitely recommend this one 👍🏻👍🏻
