This sounded interesting from the synopsis, but I’m not sure if it lived up to my expectations. The characters are ok, as is the story so far, but it’s not on top of my list. I had hoped for more.

Overall, I found the books lacking. Sure it was entertaining. But I will never listen to it or think about it ever again. The story was confusing because of it's many plotholes. Further, the author made plenty use of the storytelling SIN (!) of "if there's a problem not easily fixable, just throw some magic at it that wasn't previously mentioned/discovered". Which I find to be lazy storytelling. And the four romantic interests... I still can't tell one from another. They are all the same without any distinguishably different characteristics.

I wouldn't recommend it. Even the "mature" scenes which can help salvage a plot lacking book, were simply meh..
