Am relevantesten

I liked the story well enough to care about the characters and be compelled into listening till the end. However, all of the figures are kind of out of character (especially Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Georgiana herself). At least, they are not what I imagined them to be from the original Jane Austen novel Pride and Prejudice.

As for the narrator, she has a pleasant voice, yet I wished she had not made the diary sound as if it was written by a wimp at a funeral. I mean, in Jane Austen's novel, Georgiana is supposed to be a shy girl. But in Anna Elliot's story she does not at all come across as such. Therefore, a more cheerful performance would have improved this audiobook a great deal.
