He points out what and why the various protestant scholars stress certain passages and not others and shows how these differ from the numerous Catholic approaches. He even brings out how the various religious orders, Dominican, Franciscan, and Jesuits will approach the scripture from different angles determined in part by their own spiritualities and charisms.
