Loved it!
Well written and well told and really fun to listen to. 5 stars because it got me hooked right away. I laughed, cried, smiled, frowned - and that's what convinced me. I love that Dolly Alderton reads this herself, makes it feel more personal and emotional. I started listening to this without any expectations and got totally blown away, as I usually don't go for this type of book.

liked it, better if you can relate more
I liked the friendship centric narrative and conclusion. The story was also often fun and deep. Sometimes it was a little hard to relate, since the novel refers to a very specific time, cultural phenomenons and type of person/experience which I don't share. So I guess it would be more fun to read if you can relate more. Nevertheless, an interesting and fun read. I also recommend the author's former podcast and her appareances on several other podcasts (mainly one about sex and the city called sentimental in the city with another author Caroline O'Donahue), which are an absolute treat and ultimately lead me to reading her novel.

Thrillingly relatable and very funny
Listening to Dolly‘s stories of happy and not so much romantic encounters, brings the sweet and sour memories of your own. Amazing ability to learn from the mistakes is what makes the author so admirable for me.

Hilarious, poignant and oh so relatable!
Dolly hits the nail on the head and encapsulates life as a millennial perfectly. The book is very well read, and relaxing to listen to, I really enjoyed it!

I loved it
The book is so relatable and detailed. It was like therapy to me and I've instantly recommended it to all my friends.

An outline of life in London
Started off as a story of adolescence With long descriptions of drunken nights and partying which felt a bit shallow but then picked up and I started appreciating a more insightful writing. Witty language,

Good to read when you are 20 and anxious
The book gives you a nice insight into the future, and (too) many relatable moments. Overall reassuring and hopeful of the future as women :)
