Simon Pebble did such an outstanding job narrating this gripping tale of Shackleton's crew tackling the terrifying tightrope of their path to survival that I've now bought several of his other audiobook narrations. Great job!

The most incredible story I ever listened to - and it all really happened. I would not have believed this to be possible if the story were fiction.

Very fitting performance. Don't be put off by the old-school narration. You'll get used to it soon enough and it transports a lot of emotions and sets a wonderful early 20th century stage.

Small spoiler: This story is, even though the events might be harsh, still suitable for the faint hearted

The audiobook was really interesting, I was hooked from the very beginning to the end. That was a great story! I liked the speaker very much, good voice for story telling. Would highly recommend!
