Seventy years ago, the world ended in chaos.

Portals appeared on Earth, forcing everyone to make a choice: Enter or die. However, if they managed to survive through all twelve planets in the system, they would be allowed to return home. Humanity fought bitterly and, in the end, succeeded, but the cost was high.

Nate lost everyone he’s cared about, and after stepping through the final portal, he makes a shocking discovery. Earth is part of the system and what’s left of humanity is too weak to go home. Returning to the scene of the battle, Nate finds the unexpected–a new portal. A single step takes him back in time, to the day when the end of the world began.

Given the chance to fix the mistakes of his past, Nate will do all he can to ensure that humanity–and more importantly, his family–is strong enough to survive this time around. Manipulating events won't be easy. Knowledge is power but, more importantly, in the System of Twelve, power is power.

Rewriting history was never on Nate’s to-do list, but seeing as he’s the only viable candidate, he’ll give it his best shot or die trying.

End of the World is a progression fantasy with GameLit and tower climber elements.

Wenn du die Zukunft kennst und trotzdem F upts. BIG TIME. Bin gerade am zweiten, mal gucken ob es da besser für unseren MC läuft

Mal was neues

Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten. Bitte versuche es in ein paar Minuten noch einmal.
Die Story ist nicht neu, hätte aber Potenzial gehabt.

Leider ist der MC nicht wirklich die hellste Birne.
Beispiel: Er hätte eine Pistole mitbringen können, die bis lvl/rank 50 geholfen hätte.. sagte sich jedoch, dass man sich nicht an diese gewöhnen sollte und ließ sie Zuhause.
In 7 Stunden dieses "Buches", hat er es gerade mal auf Rank 9 geschafft (mehrere Monate) und wäre 4-5 fast gestorben, musste ruhen für die Heilung und ist ohnehin schon ewig weit hinter den Top Ranker. Mit Pistole, wäre all das kein Problem gewesen, sein Rank wäre höher und seine geliebten Points/Credits wären ebenfalls viel mehr. Mehr und schnellere Kills (Menschen und Monster).

Nun kommt aber das nervigste an diesem Buch.. Wenig Worldbuilding, dafür dumme, nervige weibliche NCs und massiv viel unnötigen Context, Drama um die Dame herum.
Das Buch handelt quasi nur von diesem Ark.
Wenn ich sinnlose Verblödung hören will, schalte ich RTL 2 an.

Und zum Abschluss... natürlich erzählt er keinem, dass er ein Returner ist. WARUM AUCH IMMER..

Mehr als 3 Sterne geht hier einfach nicht. Dafür hat sich der Autor zu wenig Mühe gegeben.
