While it is understood and ok to me that the Longknife series is only "light" SF reading... the content of this book is simply way too thin.
The story content is a most enough for half a book - here it is forcibly stretched into full length - even with all the writing skills of Mike Shepherd this is just not good enough!
Only buy if on sale or as pet of a subscription and only if you're interested in the Longknife series.
