I really liked this series of books. However, I’m a little disappointed about this one. It’s the last and I had the impression that the author wanted to finish as fast as possible. There are some inconsistencies within this book not lining up with info from the last ones. But worse, the MC seems to have lost a lot of his spunk he usually had. He needs to reminded constantly to focus on the tasks at hand and somehow forgets all the time what he can do. It’s weird.
All that said, it’s not that the book is bad. It’s just not as good as the previous ones.
