For 100 years Edward the Carousel Horse searched for his own Forever Child Edward Pureheart was born to thrill the children of the Texas Lone Star Funfair Grand Carousel, but his maker gave him a soft heart, and with that came his yearning to find a child of his own that would never stop loving him, playing with him and talking to him.

He journeyed for one hundred years from Texas to London and everywhere he went he found that most children lose their innocence, break their hearts and stop believing in magical talking carousel horses; they grow up.

The Edward Pureheart book was written purely for the enjoyment and fun of people with learning disabilities. The Forever Children are the heroes of Edward Pureheart. There aren’t many books like this but hopefully, Edward will be the beginning of a whole new genre of writing. There is no such thing as a ‘mental age’ for our Forever Children. They are very old and very young and everything in between in many different ways, all at the same time. Edward deals with some issues that very young-thinking people might have because they live in adult bodies.
