Percy and Brandt - what a beautiful couple. They deserve the best possible lives together.
I am glad that I found this story somewhat continuing the "Hidden Species" series. I hope this series shows more about the lives of the characters I already know and love.
Joel Leslie is one of my favourite narrators - I adore his talent to voice so different characters with their own distinct voices.

As someone who hates having being introduced to 10 to 20 characters at ones, this is not the first book in the overall arch of the storyline! To save someone else to get subjected to all of those spoilers… The first book you have to listen to is “Demos do it better” in the “Hidden Species Series”. As that wasn’t in the blurb, I basically started in the middle and had to go back, which is a personal pet peeve of mine. That being sad the author made it up by being awesome, as well as the voice actor.

I don't know why I stalled so long before getting to this book. These series plays in the same universe as "Demons do it better" and is about Percy and Brandt. If you know the previous series you get to meet all the wonderful characters again that are Percy's friends.

It's a short book and there is no different storyline just the couple. But if you are a fan it's fun.

I laughed out loud a couple of times - the characters are just so funny and I loved the banter.

There’s not a lot of plot, but still a lovely story.

I think it will not be as good if you haven’t heard the original series.

I don’t like the neverending „i disappoint my parents“ trope and it’s rather ridiculous when you’re 400 years old 🤷‍♀️
