Tour parties are eager to see this stunning, hypnotic portion of sky that’s beyond description, and it’s Penelope’s job to stop people staring up at it for too long. For the Paradox’s beauty drives people mad. The Doctor, Amy and Rory are about to discover that the Paradox also contains a giant and frightening creature with a taste for death…

“The Art of Death” fits nicely in the Doctor Who universe and displays Rory, Amy and 11 as they can be seen in the TV series.
It was a bit hard to get into the story, it is told from a minor character’s point of view (well, major in this novel though), giving just glimpses of the 3 main characters, and it is a sad one. Still, once I was comfortable with it, I couldn’t stop listening to the very end.
Again I liked Raquel Cassidy very much, but I’m unhappy with all the fancy mixed in sound effects.

a bit hard t get into, otherwise excellent
