Superbly written And performed

I love the Hamish Macbeth series and have listened to over 10 audiobooks in English and German on both audible and Deezer. This one however is such a disappointment!! The plot is extremely boring and the characters are very shallow. The story seems to go on and some of its parts make little sense. Overall, very badly written. An anomaly to the otherwise fantastic book series.
