Leider gar nicht mein Geschmack. Zu viel zwischenmenschliches Gesabel. Quasi rund um die Uhr geht es um politische Machtspielchen oder Aufarbeitung von persönlichen Problemen.
Das eigentliche Thema LitRPG ist für mich zu kurz geraten. Auch der Teaser, Cover und Beschreibung erwähnen nicht, dass es ein Selbsthilfebuch oder eines mit dauerhaften politischen Machtspielchen ist..

Schade, dass der Autor sich nicht mehr Mühe für das erdachte Universum/System gegebenen hat..

Okay, first, the story is quite boring. The protagonist, some homeless guy, comes to power and tries to lead saving the world. The evil comes in waves advertised by the system, the monsters get stronger and the people on the other side grow stronger hand in hand. Listening to the story is like listening to growing grass. No surprises. None.
But okay, that wouldn't be that bad, just a boring story I wouldn't bother to rate.
It is about the strange vibes I get.
The religious overtones with demons and angels, the rapture and stuff like that. Or not mentioning the skin colour of any character just once - which somewhat feels like Republicans misrepresenting MLK with the famous quote. Or the President of the United States who erased the separation between religion and state. Or the shy handling of explicit content while using explicit language inflationary. Or that homelessness seems to be a choice - just boot straps to pull ... And on and on...
Of course, those aren't the turner diaries (not at all!), but it's still seems the author just wants to represent his right wing christian nationalist world view with incel peppering.
Of course, I may be misrepresenting this story and the author (if so, sorry), but that is what I take away.

The narrator tries hard to get some life into the story and he does an honorable job, but with this story...
