Both actors did an amazing job and I really, really loved the Scottish accent!!
That said, the story itself started a bit slow for my taste and it's really just the beginning of it all when the book ends. I would have loved to see a little bit more character development and world building, but given that there are several more books in this series, I do expect to get this in the following books!
The flashbacks to the past were a real treat for me as it brings in some more of the mythological side of the story.
