about living a fulfilled and happy life through true (self)love and a sense of worthiness and belonging. It's not an easy how to lesson, but a permanent practice to shift your values and ideas to live a more authentic life. I thought it was very wise and will listen to it again to implement the ideas in my life.

I love howbthe author names feelings and experiences so clearly. I love how she dares to use her own experiences as show cases for her theories. I don't believe in progress within our society's by being agreeable. But I now I believe, the key might not be fight but vulnerability.

This is a book for everyone. And with that I mean everyone. The humanity and universality of the emotions, fears and positive learnings that I got from this book is an experience I will not forget. I will listen to this book again, again and again. I am sure of that.

This book made me feel personally attacked multiple times, but in the best way. When she spoke about being perpetually disappointed, she used a phrase I have been using for years - word for word.
I have written down a few quotes and concepts on post-its that hang on my wall. Just small reminders that, while striving for constant certainty is a great coping mechanism (for me), being vulnerability may expose me to more joy instead of perpetual disappointment.
